چکیده

In this article we identify what influences the human negotiating process. These influencing concepts can be categorized into sociological concepts, environmental concepts and human inventions. We compared the concepts that were found in the human domain with the negotiating process in multi-agent systems. It was found that many environmental concepts and most human inventions are modelled by multiagent systems but sociological concepts are often not used. Exploring these concepts will help towards the ongoing trend of designing humanoid agents.

A Context-aware Architecture for Mental Model Sharing through Semantic Movement in Intelligent Agents

Recent studies in multi-agent systems are paying increasingly more attention to the paradigm of designing intelligent agents with human inspired concepts. One of the main cognitive concepts driving the core of many recent approaches in multi agent systems is shared mental models. In this paper, we propose an architecture for sharing mental models based on a new concept called semantic movement....

C-IPS: Specifying Decision Interdependencies in Negotiations

Negotiation is an important mechanism of coordination in multiagent systems. Contrary to early conceptualizations of negotiating agents, we believe that decisions regarding the negotiation issue and the negotiation partner are equally important as the selection of negotiation steps. Our C-IPS approach considers these three aspects as separate decision processes. It requires an explicit specific...

Modeling Lateral Communication in Holonic Multi Agent Systems

Agents, in a multi agent system, communicate with each other through the process of exchanging messages which is called dialogue. Multi agent organization is generally used to optimize agents’ communications. Holonic organization demonstrates a self-similar recursive and hierarchical structure in which each holon may include some other holons. In a holonic system, lateral communication occurs b...
